How do we get started?+
Reach out by phone or the contact form. We'll verify your insurance, handle the paperwork, and schedule an assessment with a BCBA — then build your child's plan and begin care.
Request a call any time.
What happens at the first visit?+
A BCBA meets your child — in person or by video — to understand their strengths, needs, and your family's goals. There's nothing to prepare; just come as you are.
At what age should my child start?+
Earlier can be especially powerful, which is why our Early Learning Unit focuses on our youngest learners — but it's never too late. We design individualized care for a range of ages and stages.
Is there a waitlist?+
It depends on the season and the program. Reach out and we'll tell you exactly where things stand and what to expect.
What is ABA therapy?+
Applied Behavior Analysis is an evidence-based approach that helps children with autism build communication, social, and daily-living skills. At BlueAsh it's warm and play-based — every session is one-to-one.
What is Attachment-Informed ABA?+
It's the model created by Christine Allen — pairing ABA with attachment science. It leans on ideas like co-regulation, where a child borrows calm from a trusted adult before they can self-regulate, so therapy stays rooted in safety and connection. Your child is met emotionally and socially, not only behaviorally.
What's the difference between a BCBA and an RBT?+
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) assesses your child, writes the plan, and supervises care. A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) delivers the 1:1 sessions day to day, under that BCBA's ongoing oversight.
How many hours a week will my child need?+
It depends on your child. After the assessment, your BCBA recommends a number of hours tailored to their needs — and we work around your family's schedule.
Where does therapy take place?+
Wherever your child learns best — in our Fayetteville, GA clinic, at home and in the community, or at school. Many families use a blend of settings.
Do you work with our child's school and other providers?+
Yes. We coordinate with your child's school and providers and can take part in IEP meetings, so everyone is working toward the same goals.
What insurance do you accept?+
We're in-network with CareSource, Georgia Medicaid, BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, and Peach State — with United Healthcare coming soon.
Will you check our benefits? Does it cost anything to start?+
We verify your benefits for you at no cost, before you commit to anything.
What if you don't take our plan?+
Call us — coverage changes often, and we're glad to check. We'll always be upfront about your options.
